Job summary

Alpha 3 is seeking an Electrical Distribution Engineer to support electrical utility and private distribution projects in Wilmington, DE. This full-time role follows a hybrid schedule with in-office presence Tue–Thu and remote work the other days.

The candidate will design and review distribution systems, perform field reviews, and prepare CAD/GIS design packages while coordinating with clients and vendors. A PE or EIT is favored with relevant distribution experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in electrical/electronics engineering or closely related field.
• Master’s degree in electrical power engineering or at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate, and create new designs and drawings for electrical distribution systems and revise existing ones.
• Perform field reviews, sketches, CAD, and GIS design.
• Prepare design packages for aerial and underground distribution lines and guide designers and drafters.

Job Title: Distribution Engineer - DELocation: Wilmington, DEPOSITION DESCRIPTIONAlpha 3 is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical utility and private distribution projects. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule. Three days per week (typically Tuesday-Thursday) are expected to be in the office and two days per week from home. Preferred office location Wilmington,DE.
