LaBella is hiring a Distribution Engineer in the Program Management Services Division for our client’s office in Rochester, NY. The role supports complex capital programs with engineering and project management functions.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology, and a PE (preferred). Salary ranges from $75,000 to $120,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

• PE licensed or PE requested is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Application DG Screens.
• Perform Distribution Protection & Control Coordination Studies.
• Evaluate System Impact Studies and determine required system upgrades.
• Determine settings for new equipment (Reclosers, Cap Banks, Regulators, Etc).
• Design System Upgrades in SAP.

The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.

Duties

• Perform Pre-Application DG Screens
• Perform Distribution Protection & Control Coordination Studies
• Evaluate System Impact Studies and determine required system upgrades
• Determine settings for new equipment (Reclosers, Cap Banks, Regulators, Etc).
• Design System Upgrades in SAP

Salary Range:$75,000 - $120,000 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
