$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Title: Distribution Designer

Location: Remote

Hire Type: contract to hire

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create plan and profile designs
• Conduct baseline and design reviews for medium-complexity projects (e.g., main installation/replacement)
• Develop detailed cross-sections and profiles
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Apply knowledge of pipe specifications and design limitations
• Design for railroad permit applications
• Complete all assignments on time and within allocated hours
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience:

• Certification or degree in Drafting, or equivalent relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Prior experience in the Natural Gas industry
• Minimum of 4 years of job-related experience

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in Civil 3D, with experience in pipeline and site projects
• Must have experience with natural gas distribution
• Knowledgeable in regulating facility design
• Understands workspace requirements and construction feasibility
