Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Distribution Clerk III (Distribution Data Clerk) to support daily goals set by the Distribution Manager and team lead in our global lens and frames operations. The role involves inventory control, data entry, and problem solving within specialized departments such as Ray-Ban and VAS.

The position requires at least 1 year in distribution, strong math skills, and proficiency with SAP/AS-400. The team emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year distribution experience.
• Strong math aptitude and numerical recognition.
• Accurate data entry and keyboarding.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Works in specialized departments like Rayban Stories, VAS or military.
• Performs inventory control cycle counting.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Identifies quality, process and workflow problems.
• Uses SAP or AS/400 to obtain relevant information and research.
• Ensures accurate evaluation of the product is keyed into the system.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
• Communicates with the leadership team concerning problems, suggestions, and concerns.
• Works on special projects as needed.
• Specialized knowledge of client specific requirements.
