Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a full-time Distribution Clerk 2 for the Groveport area. You will handle returned merchandise, record data in SAP/AS/400, monitor shipping dates, and help maintain accurate shipping records in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will work closely with leadership, assist with training, and participate in process improvements while upholding safety and accuracy standards in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Experience performing diversified duties with shipping and distribution.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and meet production schedules.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and evaluates frames in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensures accurate evaluation of the product is entered into the system.
• Uses SAP or AS/400 to obtain information and research.
• Monitors labels for correct shipping dates and tracks errors.
• Assists with tracking late or lost packages.
• Maintains shipping records.
• Completes projects as assigned by Leadership Team.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Assists Supervisors and/or lead associates when necessary.
• Helps train new distribution associates.
• Participates in departmental meetings and may lead them.
• Offers process improvement recommendations.
• Maintains proficiency in all functions within area of responsibility.
