Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification: High School Diploma/GED AND 2-3 years of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, &/or equivalent military experience.
  • Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and high accuracy in information processing.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve conflicts; make informed decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily warehouse operations of processing inventory in compliance with internal controls.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of goods to customers and/or vendors; maintain cleanliness and proper environment.
  • Build positive professional relationships to minimize turnover and maximize productivity.
  • Assist with on-time service, manage freight exceptions and ETA adjustments.
  • Coordinate safety standards and enforce company safety requirements; promote a safety culture.
  • Perform payroll, budgeting, invoicing, and reporting duties as needed.
  • Maximize efficiency and profitability; recommend improvements; measure KPIs for operations and warehouse.
  • Fill in for absent personnel and assist with loading/unloading and yard management.

Provides general oversight of operations that ensures a safe, reliable environment, and works with internal and external contacts to ensure accurate management, routing, and delivery of inventory. Incumbents must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility in scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts, and weekend shifts.
