Job summary

Walman is seeking a Distribution Clerk (Mailroom) for our Minneapolis area facility to manage mail flow, ship orders, and support delivery operations. The role requires a High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in distribution/logistics, with strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. The position offers full-time hours with competitive pay starting at $17.25/hour plus a $1 shift differential;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of experience in a distribution/logistics environment.
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills; ability to use keyboard/CRT terminal.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily activities to ensure efficient routing and meet customer delivery requirements.
• Open and sort all incoming mail and orders per procedures.
• Package completed work for shipment in a neat, professional manner.
• Initiate DVI invoice generation and route completed work by best carrier.
• Match invoices and file as necessary.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized work area.
