Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory's Phoenix Distribution Center is hiring for an Operations/Warehouse Associate. The role supports adult rehabilitation program by handling product sorting, pricing, QA, and safe transport of merchandise.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, can read and follow instructions, and meet physical requirements including lifting up to 75 lbs. On-site work with opportunities to contribute to community programs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort and price product efficiently and properly according to TSA policy.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collecting merchandise from the distribution site and safely transporting materials.
• Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for the operation of the total program.
