Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee multiple departments within the distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment.

You will provide direction and motivation to warehouse associates while ensuring safety, productivity, and quality, monitor productivity, and implement improvements across the distribution center to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a distribution center.
• 2+ years in a lead or mentorship role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• BS/BA in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Monitors productivity of warehouse associates and balances workload to meet goals.
• Provides training, tools, and equipment for safe and efficient task completion.
• Ensures warehousing functions run smoothly and acts as contact for escalated issues.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance DC performance.
• Evaluates DC alignment for efficiency and inventory management.
• Ensures clean work areas and adherence to safety policies.
• Completes appropriate paperwork and productivity reports.
