PURPOSE

Ascend strives to be the employer of choice for our Team Members and a provider of choice for our Customers.This Distribution Center Team Lead is accountable to coordinate the daily activities of those servicing their assigned customers.They perform as a "player-coach", monitoring and assisting the work of Distribution Center associates performing a variety of duties related to warehousing, transportation, safety, and inventory functions in the DC.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Coordinate the team to facilitate loading and unloading of trailers while maintaining high levels of safety, productivity, accuracy, and teamwork.
• Process customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process customer returns.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including general maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, problem solving and a positive professional approach to work.
• Provide current, direct, complete, and "actionable", positive and corrective feedback to others.

• Engage Operations Management to address discipline if team members are not responsive to coaching.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a distribution facility.
