Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse/WMS support specialist to help maintain the Warehouse Management System and support distribution operations.

The role requires 2–4 years in distribution, a high school diploma (associates preferred), and experience in system maintenance and programming. You’ll work in a warehouse environment with heat, noise and dust and may operate powered equipment.

Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) is functional during operations with respect to:

• Maintenance of WMS system hardware and software
• System enhancement support through user testing and system parameter definition
• Style files maintenance relating to hazardous materials and other distribution center characteristics
• Providing WMS system training to distribution center team members.

Position requires availability during off‑hours seven days a week. Responsible for maintaining all computer equipment, both hardware and software, pertaining to the WMS system. Position involves maintaining locations and all system parameters in conjunction with the distribution operations. Provide support for system enhancements. (i.e., user testing, defining parameters to WMS system.) Maintain style files in relation to hazardous material and other distribution characteristics. (i.e., cube weight, pilferable, stackable.) Perform WMS system training to distribution center team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years' experience in Distribution/Transportation.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma, preferred Associates Degree in Business Management or Information Technology.
• System maintenance and programming experience.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise and dust.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift and sit for up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to work on powered equipment when needed.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
