Job summary

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is seeking a full-time Alternate Site Manager to support the DLA mission and Distribution Center operations. The role emphasizes supervision, planning, and professional contract management within a sustained auditable environment.

Qualified candidates will have extensive distribution management experience, knowledge of warehouse systems, and strong communication skills. A background check and drug screen are required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Distribution Management or 7+ years in distribution operations management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
• Ability to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
• Pass a NACI or secret background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for employees, including planning and managing the contract professionally.
• Coach and mentor supervisors and leads.
• Ensure work is scheduled to maximize resource use and provide timely reports.
• Implement cost-saving factors and quality controls; ensure work is performed as scheduled and cost-efficiently.
