JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is seeking a full-time Alternate Site Manager to support the DLA mission and Distribution Center operations. The role emphasizes supervision, planning, and professional contract management within a sustained auditable environment.

Qualified candidates will have extensive distribution management experience, knowledge of warehouse systems, and strong communication skills. A background check and drug screen are required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Distribution Management or 7+ years in distribution operations management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years.
• Ability to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
• Pass a NACI or secret background investigation and drug screen.

Overview

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time Alternate Site Manager to support the DLA mission, DLA Distribution, to manage, operate, and perform the Distribution Center functions within a sustained auditable environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: provide supervision for the employees, including planning and managing the contract professionally; coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads; ensuring work is scheduled properly to maximize resource use; ensuring accurate and timely reports are provided; providing effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered; executing cost-saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Experience

The Alternate Site Manager must have at least three (3) years of experience in Distribution Management or at least seven (7) years of management experience in distribution operations. Experience must include a minimum of two (2) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years. Possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.

Qualifications

• Understand the importance of risk management and internal controls to combat fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement.
• Adhere to Contract Requirements, including Audit Sustainment requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Stop work when there is a problem with any aspect of the process and engage with supervisors for resolution.
• Ability to pass a NACI or secret background investigation and drug screen.

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
