Job description

Position Summary:

Supervise and provide leadership to an area at EF Fulfillment & Distribution Center. Perform and delegate work to an area of the department via OMNI. Provide guidance to all coordinators, associates, and Temporary Employees in daily work and priorities for the day. Work with other leaders to identify ways to improve and enhance efficiencies, accuracies, and effective cost-wise schedule. Ability to understand and configure processes in Warehouse Management System. The ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday, including but not limited to lifting/carrying of heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership and direction for an assigned area of the Fulfillment & Distribution Center.
  • Develops and creates ways to drive continuous improvement with area operation processes and monitor KPIs.
  • Provides outstanding customer service in terms of accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness.
  • Supervise employees and temporary staff in OMNI Fulfillment & Distribution Center tasks, including receiving, shipping, stocking, cycle counting, order picking, and packing.
  • Continue or complete pending tasks from dayshift and weekdays.
  • Support or participate in all Warehouse Management System, Order Management System, and Enterprise Resource Planning System related projects.
  • Coordinate and resolve system issues with vendors & IT partners.
  • Partner with EFW Leaders to train employees and Temporary Employees on processes and procedures.
  • Assist in opening or closing the Fulfillment & Distribution Center building.
  • Investigate missed or short-picked orders and take necessary actions.
  • Communicate with carriers (UPS, USPS, or others) via phone or email as needed.
  • Reach out to senior leadership during crises via phone or email.
  • Function as point person during nights and weekends in the absence of the FC Assistant Manager.

Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
