Distribution Center Supervisor (Dekalb, IL) 2nd shift

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Distribution Center Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading approximately 50 production hourly 2nd Shift employees.
• Implementing process improvements in the area of Safety, Quality, and Productivity at the DeKalb Distribution Centers.
• Determining staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the crew.
• Supporting Lean Six Sigma annual cost savings goals and leading 2nd Shift Lean Management System Tier meetings.
• Being available to work weekends or other shifts as required.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School diploma / GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Three (3) years of combined experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing leadership role in a private, public, government or military environment.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
• Experience in leading full-time, part-time, and contingent hourly production employees.
• Experience with JDA/DLx, Cybershift, or labor management systems.
• Skills include the ability to drive change and implement improvement plans for identified areas of improvement.

Location: On-site at Dekalb, IL

Shift: 2nd / 2:30pm - 10:30pm M-F

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation: May be authorized

The expected compensation range for this position is $84,595 - $103,394, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
