Job summary

3M in DeKalb, IL, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead 50+ hourly production staff on the 2nd shift and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

You will determine staffing, support Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and help manage shift metrics while aligning with 3M's global standards. Shift hours are 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with relocation possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing leadership role in a private, public, government or military environment
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or Engineering from an accredited institution
• Five (5) years of experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment

• Implements process improvements in Safety, Quality, and Productivity at the DK6 Distribution Center in DeKalb, IL.
• Determine staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the shift.
• Supports Lean Six Sigma annual cost savings goals and leads the 2nd Shift Crew in Lean Management System Tier meetings.
• Willingness to work 2nd Shift hours (2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)

Salary and Benefits

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $84,595 - $103,394, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
