Rexel USA is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor (2nd Shift) in Solon, OH to coordinate and supervise all distribution center activities on their shift. The role includes leading inbound/outbound operations, interviewing and training staff, and directing workloads to meet safety and productivity KPIs.

The position requires 5+ years of DC experience, 2+ years of leadership, and certification to operate all material handling equipment. Work hours are 11am to 8pm on the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Warehouse or Distribution Center experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Certified to operate all material handling equipment: forklift, Stand-Up Rider pallet Jack, Electric Reach Truck, High-Reach Narrow-Aisle.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all distribution center activities on the shift.
• Lead inbound/outbound operations to meet safety, inventory and productivity KPIs.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews monitoring.
• Ensure accurate and damage-free inbound/outbound shipments and optimal picking/packing.
• Utilize WMS metrics and reporting to improve warehouse productivity.
• Establish and manage work schedules and coverage.

We are looking for a Distribution Center Supervisor (2nd Shift) to join our Rexel team located in Solon, OH!

Summary: The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all distribution center activities performed on their shift. Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work. Lead inbound/outbound operations to meet all Safety, Inventory and Productivity KPI’s.

What You'll Do:

• Work Hours: 11am - -8pm
• Must behave consistently with the Company’s Core Competencies, Polices, Procedures, guidelines, and focus on safety
• Participate in all aspects of hiring new employees. Train, assign, and direct work. Complete performance reviews, and disciplines and/or address complaints and resolve employee issues
• Supervise and coordinate the functions of departments in an orderly manner to achieve the highest possible levels of accuracy and productivity
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment and maintain the security of the Distribution Center
• Ensure inbound and/or outbound shipments and products are accurate and free of damage
• Coordinate activities related to receiving, shipping, picking and packing of inventory and non-inventory items
• Establish work schedules, ensure that jobs are correctly implemented, assigned effectively, and completed properly
• Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Utilize Workforce Management System (WMS) metrics, reporting and other tools to increase warehouse productivity.
• Evaluate policies and procedures to improve efficiency and make recommendations for improvement
• Other duties as assigned
