Job summary

Tireco, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a Distribution Center Associate to efficiently count, verify, and place pallets using RF scanners, and to pick and stage outbound shipments at dock doors.

You will maintain safety and cleanliness while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced distribution center. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of distribution center experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience working in a distribution center environment.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift and clamp

Responsibilities

• Counts, verifies, and accurately places pallets of inbound product into correct bin locations using RF scanner.
• Counts, verifies, and accurately picks and stages pallets of outbound product at appropriate dock door using RF scanner.
• Completes all tasks in a safe and efficient manner to achieve and maintain productivity goals.
• Maintains cleanliness, order, and safety in the distribution center at all times.
• Complete daily inspections of material handling equipment (forklift/clamp) and operate equipment with a safety-first mentality.
• Assist with picking and processing of parcel and/or LTL orders, loading carrier trucks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management
