Job summary

ACCO Brands Corporation is seeking a Distribution Center Associate II in Mississippi to support shipping and receiving. You will load/unload trailers, move products, and operate powered equipment including reach trucks, while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy.

Strong reading, math, and PC/RF skills are required. The role emphasizes hands-on forklift and pallet jack operation, adherence to safety standards, overtime as needed, and contributing to process improvements within a dynamic

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to perform all physical demands including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs., frequently.
• Must read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Must perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must attain certification to operate mechanical power lift devices such as forklift and pallet truck.
• Must attain ability to operate personal computer equipment and RF handheld wand.
• Prefer experience reading load sheets and operating narrow-aisle reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand pallet jack, forklift, reach truck, pallet truck (walkie-rider), and stacker.
• Load and unload trailers with appropriate equipment.
• Move product through aisles and on shelves with appropriate devices.
• Keep track of daily transactions and report to management.
• Operate PC equipment and RF handheld wands.
• Read load sheets and follow specifications.
• Pull Big Boards and other items as directed.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Work overtime as required.
• Participate in process improvement projects.
