Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Three Oaks, MI is seeking a DC Shipping Clerk responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments, organizing inventory for easy retrieval, and ensuring stock accuracy throughout shifts.

You will read orders, pick items from shelves, package for shipment, inspect goods for damage, maintain clean work areas, and comply with safety regulations. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

Distribution Center Shipping Clerk**Reports To: **Warehouse Manager or Designee**Location: **Three Oaks, MIJob Summary: The DC Shipping Clerk, is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.**Primary Responsibilities: **Pack, prepare and ship inventory to customers or storefronts. Read incoming orders, quickly and efficiently selecting items form warehouse shelves and adequately packaging those products for shipment. Will have an in-depth understanding of the warehouse layout and confirm stock inventory is accurate throughout entire shift. Perform basic quality assurance by inspecting goods and their containers for possible damage before packing them to be shipped. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.Experience:Minimum of one-year experience in a warehouse or distribution centerKnowledge of distribution processes (shipping, receiving, and inventory control)Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scannersAbility to use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) systems.
