Job summary

Fastenal Company in Winona, MN is hiring part-time DC Recycling Support to help maintain our in-house pallets and recycling processes. You will perform waste separation, operate balers, and contribute to our Think Green initiative.

The role requires 18+, good communication, ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to work a flexible schedule. Physical effort is required.

We offer a 401(k) with employer contribution and a pay range of $15–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or over due to the nature of work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY).

OVERVIEW

Working as Part-Time DC Recycling Support, you will assist in the facility maintenance for our in-house cardboard, plastic, metals and wood pallets, helping to reduce our Distribution Center's carbon footprint.
