Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a DC Planner at our Junction City, KS distribution center to maximize order delivery for direct-to-consumer and retail stores. The role emphasizes logistics optimization, inventory control, and cross-team collaboration to ship within 24 hours of receipt.

You will work Monday–Friday, 5:00am–3:00pm, focusing on capacity planning, wave development, and continuous improvement across the network. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with distribution or store replenishment strategies is a plus.
• Proficient in data analysis with Excel; knowledge of BI tools is beneficial.
• Experience with warehouse management systems, specifically Manhattan, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and wave products to optimize delivery to stores within 24–48 hours of demand.
• Support systematic waves to maintain a steady flow of work across production teams.
• Review orders older than 24 hours and coordinate with Operations leadership to ship promptly.
• Serve as SME for the DC waving strategy and update templates as needs evolve.
