Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Distribution Center Advisor to lead day-to-day operations for a specific department in our Distribution Center in California. You will guide a team of up to 30, drive safety, training, and productivity, and partner with DC leaders to optimize workflow and costs.

You will coach staff, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement process improvements in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in distribution center/warehouse environment.
• PIE operation: forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, stackers.
• Flexible schedule for various shifts.
• Fast-paced environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of up to 30 direct reports to meet productivity goals.
• Monitor labor costs and payroll to ensure attendance policy compliance.
• Provide coaching to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Oversee work processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Manage daily shift schedules for adequate staffing and execution.
• Collaborate with DC Operations Managers to meet objectives.
• Enforce safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams on operational challenges.
