Job summary

Tireco-Distributors is seeking a Distribution Center Manager in Fontana, CA, to oversee daily DC operations, drive efficiency, and lead a team of drivers and associates. The role emphasizes safety adherence, budget management, and customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in operations leadership, DOT fleet experience, and strong communication skills, with a focus on process improvements and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of operations leadership experience preferred.
• Experience managing fleet of delivery vehicles under DOT compliance.
• Valid regular driver’s license; Class D may be required in some states.
• Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proven customer service skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety programs; ability to implement processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily DC operations, scheduling, and driver supervision.
• Ensure accurate and timely loading/unloading of shipments and paperwork.
• Enforce safety, security, and company policies; manage cost controls and budgets.
• Monitor inventory accuracy via cycle counts and maintain DOT compliance.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of DC staff.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and optimize order fulfillment times.
