Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Distribution Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fulfillment center in Austell. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow from the moment products arrive to the time they are shipped. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple warehouse functions while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

This is a new location for Packer Fastener and initially the DC Manager will be solely responsible for our operations at this fulfillment center. As we continue to grow, so will the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily warehouse operations including Receiving, Order Fulfillment, Packing, and Shipping.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders in accordance with established procedures.
• Prioritize and release fulfillment center orders, identifying any special handling requirements.
• Provide hands-on support across various operational areas as needed.
• Assist with inventory restocking and maintain organized shipping areas to support seamless operations.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with all safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and product quality during order picking and restocking.
• Monitor and replenish order fulfillment supplies as necessary.
• Uphold housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall distribution center success.

Qualifications

• 1-5 yearsexperience in warehouse or distribution center management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
• Must be able to routinely handle and lift object(s) up to 50 pounds.
• Must have basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
