Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee, maintain, and perform non-skilled repairs within our distribution center. You will handle routine tasks and coordinate with vendors on more complex work, ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in building maintenance, familiarity with painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and knowledge of commercial construction. This role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing general building maintenance.
• Experience with painting, general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical building construction of commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Completes basic building maintenance tasks or works with vendors on more complex tasks.
• Repairs painting, plumbing, electrical lighting, and HVAC.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment for distribution associates.
• Delivers equipment status reports on open and closed maintenance work orders.
• Operates material handling equipment and ensures proper storage of hazardous materials.
