Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a facilities maintenance manager to drive the success of critical functions within a complex distribution center environment. You will develop strategies and objectives to maximize productivity while controlling expenses.

In this role you will oversee warehouse operations, manage the maintenance and installation of equipment, and lead safety programs to protect staff and assets. Strong leadership, baseline degree, and extensive facilities experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of facilities maintenance management experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leads operational excellence in all warehouse areas and warehouse management system operations.
• Ensures inventory is received efficiently and processed safely in the warehouse.
• Administers layout of warehouse and product placement and maintains all warehouse areas.
• Manages repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment to ensure continuous operations.
• Reviews contractor bids for repairs and selects contractors ensuring compliance with standards.
• Reviews maintenance, production and quality reports to plan activities.
• Maintains safety culture by following safety policies and inspecting facilities for compliance.
• Coaches and develops through training programs and provides performance feedback.
