Job summary

Empire Today is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Distribution Center team. The role involves daily warehouse tasks performed safely and efficiently, including receiving shipments, unloading, cycle counts, picking, staging, and building upkeep.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, warehouse experience preferred, forklift experience preferred, and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift or push 50-75lbs as required.
• Commitment to customer service and maintaining an excellent attendance record.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily warehouse work activities, including receiving/unloading shipments, cycle counts, and picking/staging goods.
• Perform daily pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; conduct safety checks on machinery.
• Operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (requires certification).
• Complete payroll-related tasks and training as required.
• Keep inventory counts accurate and participate in audits.
