Job description

Join to apply for the Distribution Center Loader role at NAPA Auto Parts.

This position involves staging, shrink-wrapping, and loading products by trip and store number as received from the stockroom. It includes preparing palletized loads for shipment, ensuring safe transportation and storage, and assisting with pallet building and product selection for routes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Staging products on pallets, shrink-wrapping, and loading onto trucks
  • Inspecting trailers for suitability before loading
  • Ensuring correct parts are loaded onto the correct trucks accurately and efficiently
  • Operating a pallet jack or forklift as needed
  • Maintaining proper handling and storage of products
  • Keeping the work area clean and safe
  • Pulling stock orders and assisting with other warehouse tasks
  • Following all safety procedures and regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent experience
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Reliable attendance and ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to recognize letters and numbers and remember sequences
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and push/pull up to 300 lbs. with aids
  • Ability to reach shelves and work at different heights
  • Comfortable getting in and out of trucks and standing/walking for entire shifts

Work Environment: Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and extreme weather conditions. Noise level is usually moderate.

Pay is $21 per hour.
