The role involves ensuring accurate delivery of parts and maintaining a clean work environment, with responsibilities including staging, shrink-wrapping, and loading products for shipment.
This position will be responsible for, among other things, staging, shrink wrapping and loading products by trip number and store number as received from the packing and pulling areas of the stockroom. The role involves preparing palletized loads for shipment by shrink-wrapping product to ensure safe transportation or storage, including proper balancing and placement of products. Additionally, the position assists with safe pallet building and selects products for specific routes.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and outside weather conditions of extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
