Job summary

Paycom in East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, including driver scheduling, supervision, and ensuring accurate shipment processing. You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost control while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, secure facility.

The role requires 2+ years of ops leadership, fleet management under DOT rules, and strong communication and coaching skills.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of operations leadership experience preferred.
• Experience managing a fleet under DOT compliance.
• Valid regular driver’s license (Class D in some states).
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day DC operations including scheduling and managing drivers, supervisors, leads, and associates.
• Ensure accurate, timely shipments and proper paperwork; align workload with goals.
• Enforce safety, operational, and personnel policies; monitor compliance.
• Maintain security and a safe, clean DC environment; manage inventory accuracy.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff; coach for performance improvements.
• Manage budget; optimize costs and lead times; pursue continuous improvement.
