Pet Food Experts is seeking a Site Leader to oversee the Distribution Center, driving safety, people, quality, delivery and cost while shaping strategy with practical, real-world leadership.

The Senior Manager will be a hands-on operator who builds a high-performing team, designs staffing and labor plans, and leads lean improvement across inbound, outbound, transportation and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership in distribution/logistics.
• Experience across warehouse operations, inventory, shipping and receiving.
• Strong understanding of transportation and compliance (DOT/CDL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all DC operations including safety, people, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead KPI delivery and financial/administrative functions.
• Build and retain a high-performing leadership team.
• Develop staffing plans and optimize inbound/outbound workflows.

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead with both strategy and action, driving performance while staying deeply connected to the day-to-day operation.

This role is ideal for a hands-on operator and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to balance accountability, engagement, and execution.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Manager you will oversee all aspects of Distribution Center performance, ensuring excellence across safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost.

You Will

• Lead all operational, financial, and administrative functions of the DC
• Deliver on key performance indicators including Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team
• Create staffing and labor plans while driving efficient workflows across inbound, outbound, transportation, and inventory teams
• Stay close to the operation, stepping in when needed and leading from the floor, not just the office
• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure on-time, accurate delivery to customers
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to remove waste and improve efficiency

What You Bring

• 5+ years of leadership experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics operations
• Experience across warehouse operations, inventory, shipping, and receiving
• Strong understanding of transportation, routing, and compliance (DOT/CDL preferred)
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and develop leaders
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
