Job summary

National Coatings & Supplies is hiring a Distribution Center Associate at our Mt. Juliet, TN distribution center.

You will pick orders, log inbound shipments, palletize and label overstock, verify accuracy with the supervisor, and help keep the warehouse organized for daily operations. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a $21.00 per hour base rate and a $22.00 per hour rate if forklift certified.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years work experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to use computer equipment and basic math.
• Ability to use handheld barcode scanning equipment in a paperless warehouse.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 3 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift 20–50 lbs regularly.
• Occasionally climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

Responsibilities

• Picks orders accurately and to production standards as assigned by supervisor.
• Log, process, and stock inbound merchandise shipments.
• Palletizes and labels overstock for proper handling.
• Checks shipments for accuracy and reports results to supervisor.
• Ensures parts are located and tagged for correct shipping location.
• Maintains daily housekeeping and completes cycle counts as directed.
• Restocks consumables and prepares for the next business day.
• Other duties as assigned.
