Job summary

Leupold & Stevens, Inc. in Beaverton, OR is hiring a Distribution Center Specialist 1 for the first shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM). Base rate $20.00/hour.

You will handle picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and general material handling in a fast-paced warehouse. High school diploma and basic math skills required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with FIFO

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of material replenishment pull systems.
• Basic math skills including alphanumeric sequencing.
• Ability to support transfer and sub-transfer activity using FIFO practices.
• Ability to cross-train on multiple material handling tasks and equipment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet quality standards.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively while providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine material handling activities: picking, counting, packaging, shipping, receiving, and distribution of material.
• Transports materials to/from work areas and stores them in designated locations.
• Receives, unpacks, verifies incoming shipments and routes to location.
• Verifies quantity/condition and documents discrepancies.
• Inspects and reports shortages or errors to lead.
• Weighs, counts, and labels materials; prepares for shipping.
• Runs area-specific equipment; performs other duties as assigned.
