Job summary

GOTAFE is hiring for a full-time warehouse role in the Denver, CO area. You will receive materials, verify against packing lists, and assemble orders for shipment while safely operating warehouse equipment.

No prior experience required, but certification to operate forklift and other equipment is preferred. The role offers strong benefits, overtime opportunities, and room for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safety-focused culture and address safety concerns immediately.
• Receive materials from vendors/customers and verify against packing lists.
• Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or branches.
• Load and prepare shipments for transport and carrier coordination.
• Process shipment paperwork, verify merchandise and apply postage as needed.
• Pack orders, verify quantities, and manage inventory in the warehouse.
• Perform general maintenance and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Support additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Contribute to a culture focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment, addressing safety concerns immediately
• Receive material from vendors, customers, or other distribution centers
• Verify quantity and description of materials against packing lists and prepare receiving reports if needed
• Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or branches
• Load common carrier and company vehicles
• Process UPS shipment paperwork, verify merchandise, apply correct postage, follow shipping instructions, and insure shipments when necessary
• Pack orders into containers and arrange them according to truck routes
• Gather assembled orders in carts and verify quantities and descriptions against invoices
• Perform general maintenance of the distribution center, including sweeping and trash disposal
• Safely operate various types of material handling equipment and tools
• Perform other duties as assigned

About You

The company is looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

• No prior experience required
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to satisfy customer requirements
• Ability to resolve basic issues and problems
• Beginning knowledge of the subject matter with ability to perform in a singular functional area
• Basic mathematical skills to accurately complete job tasks
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range from $19.29 to $23.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
