Burlington Stores is seeking a Distribution Center Area Manager in New Jersey to oversee warehouse operations and lead a team of associates in shipping/receiving. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and adherence to company policies.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years in a high-volume distribution setting, with strong leadership, coaching, and data analysis skills. Weekend shifts and a competitive benefits package are included.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related) or a combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Warehouse Management Systems preferred.

Position OverviewAs the Distribution Center (DC) Area Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of warehouse operations, while leading a team of Distribution Center Associates in efficiently and effectively executing shipping / receiving responsibilities safely, productively and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
