Elevance Health is hiring a Distribution Associate in Durham, NC to support warehouse operations, including picking, packing, stocking, and occasional deliveries. The role emphasizes face-to-face collaboration in a full-time onsite environment.

Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds, have basic computer skills, and be prepared for a team-oriented, fast-paced setting. A high school diploma and driving eligibility are required; hybrid/remote work is not offered.

Distribution Associate

Location: Durham, NC

Onsite: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support.

The Distribution Associate positionis responsible for preparing items for shipment, processing incoming stock, and restocking packing supplies.

How you will make an impact:

• Picks product, packages shipments according to product specific protocols, and prepare shipping labels.
• Processes incoming stock verify quantities received against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Restocks packing supplies and maintains a clean and orderly warehouse.
• Make deliveries on an as needed basis.

Minimum requirements:

• Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• A valid driver's license may be required

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• At least 3 months of related experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, and strong oral and written communication skills are strongly preferred.
• Experience with a pallet jack may be preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook is strongly preferred.
