Job summary

New Balance's Salt Lake City Distribution Center is seeking a detail-oriented associate to handle picking, packing, shipping, and returns in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain inventory integrity while working safely on a concrete floor.

Eligible candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and use RF scanners or WMS systems. Benefits include 401k, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or* 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

JOB MISSION:

Responsible for all functions in the Distribution Center with safety as a priority to ensure the highest level of quality to our customers around the world.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, received and process returns/exchanges; troubleshoot problems to resolution.
• Organize shipments to 3rd party distributors.
• Sort, count, package, label, unpack and/or log inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor.
• Reorganize inventory on shelves in warehouse for seasonality.
• Unpack shipment of product and replenish warehouse shelves.
• Identify all returned defective units with proper defective reason code.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• Good communication skills required, including reading and understanding of the English language and ability to match numbers/letters.
• Proven track record of stability and dependability in the workplace.
• Ability to use RF scanner or WMS workstation.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Able to push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk on concrete surface for 8+ hours per day, with regular bending, reaching, and crouching.
• Able to climb ladders up to 12 feet (where applicable).
• Go up and down stairs and work at heights of 20 feet on the mezzanine (where applicable).
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency preferred

Salt Lake City, UT Distribution Center Only Pay Range: $16.95 - $21.20 - $25.40 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
