Job summary

Trulieve is hiring a Distribution Associate in Hancock, MD to pull and pack orders, oversee QA in order picking, and manage shipping/receiving tasks. This role supports supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requires a high school diploma, at least 3 years in inventory control, proficiency in Excel, and a valid driver’s license. This hourly, non-exempt position includes comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spreadsheets and systems to log inventory transactions.
• Work with the Manager to keep the facility organized and efficient.
• Assist with audits of inventory and packaged goods.
• Fulfill tasks related to packaging finished stock and preparing orders for delivery.

Job Title: Distribution Associate

Reports To: Distribution Supervisor

FSLA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Pay: $21.16/hour

Location: Hancock, MD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pull and pack orders for distribution
• Oversee quality assurance in order picking
• Process order returns and manage wasted products
• Collaborate with Managers to meet supply needs, quality, and delivery requirements
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks: inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness, and receive/unpack items as needed
• Provide information on stock items, including location, quantities, and inventory movement upon request
• Perform inventory management duties such as recording, counting, and stocking items, including full and cycle counts
• Maintain spreadsheets and systems to log all non-production-related inventory transactions
• Work directly with the Manager to maintain a well-organized and efficient facility
• Assist with and actively participate in internal and external inventory and packaged goods audits
• Fulfill all tasks related to packaging finished stock and preparing orders for delivery, ensuring compliance with established regulations and labeling requirements
• Adhere to all state-specific rules and regulations
• Collaborate respectfully with team members and foster a team-oriented environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Required experience, training, or educational qualifications will be determined by Trulieve management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control and distribution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong focus on process optimization
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage high-stress situations, and remain adaptable as needed
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Strong independent work ethic and efficient time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
• Ability to clearly articulate job goals and complete them effectively
• Valid driver's license is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds as relevant to job duties
• Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods throughout the workday
• Flexibility to work 7 days per week if necessary

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS and EXPOSURE

• Fertilizer, dust, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, plant pathogens, volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables
