New Balance Athletics, Inc. in Lawrence, MA is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to perform all functions in the distribution center with safety as a priority and ensuring the highest level of quality to our customers around the world.

You will pick, pack, ship orders, process returns, organize shipments, and manage inventory while using RF scanners and a WMS workstation. The role requires good communication, dependability, shipping experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand long

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Stand/walk on concrete for 10+ hours daily.
• Able to use RF scanner or WMS workstation.
• Shipping experience preferred.
• Good English reading and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders; troubleshoot issues to resolution.
• Receive and process returns and exchanges.
• Organize shipments to 3rd party distributors.
• Count, package, label, log inventory; stock shelves.
• Inspect shipments for damages; record discrepancies.
• Replenish inventory on shelves; adjust as needed.
• Identify defective units with proper defect codes.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB MISSION: Responsible for all functions in the Distribution Center with safety as a priority and ensuring the highest level of quality to our customers around the world.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, and troubleshoot problems to resolution.
• Receive and process returns and exchanges.
• Organize shipments to 3rd party distributors.
• Sort, count, package, label, unpack and/or log inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor.
• Reorganize inventory on shelves in warehouse for seasonality.
• Unpack shipment of product and replenish warehouse shelves.
• Identify all returned defective units with proper defective reason code.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• Good communication skills required, including reading and understanding of the English language and ability to match numbers/letters.
• Proven track record of stability and dependability in the workplace.
• Shipping experience.
• Ability to use RF scanner or WMS workstation.
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Able to push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Able to stand/walk on concrete surface for 10+ hours per day, with regular bending, reaching, and crouching.
• Go up and down stairs and work at a height up to 20 feet on the mezzanine (where applicable).
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency preferred.

Lawrence, MA Distribution Center Only Pay Range: $18.15 - $22.70 - $27.20 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
