Job summary

HW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to help turn inventory into on-time customer orders. You will assemble items, prepare orders, scan with RF devices, and keep the warehouse running smoothly in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

This role emphasizes accuracy and safety as you move products from the warehouse floor to customers, complete light assembly, and support cycle counts while maintaining clean, organized work areas and following standard procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred; it can make your transition into the role even smoother.
• A reliable approach to meeting productivity goals without losing sight of accuracy.
• Sound practical judgment and the ability to follow directions presented in writing, conversation, or diagrams.
• Capacity to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move orders forward by selecting products, packing them securely, and completing light assembly tasks.
• Scan and document product movement using handheld RF devices and other warehouse equipment in line with warehouse management system procedures.
• Keep inventory dependable by assisting with cycle counts, audits, and physical counts.
• Deliver accurate, timely work while following established processes and company guidelines.
• Protect yourself and the team by following safety rules and speaking up for safe working conditions.
• Pitch in with coworkers to support a steady, efficient daily workflow.
• Keep work areas and the facility clean, organized, and ready for the next task.
• Support other warehouse needs as directed by your supervisor.
