Express Employment Professionals in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Distribution Associate to join a warehouse team. The role involves lifting, loading, and transferring materials to and from trucks with rolling carts, plus maintaining organized warehouse surroundings.

The position is full-time on an evaluation hire basis, with a schedule of 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. A national background check will be conducted, and a DOT medical card may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is preferred but will train the right individual.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70lbs.
• Strong attention to details.
• Flexible and self-motivated.
• Team player.
• Clean driving record.
• A national background check will be run.
• Ability to get a DOT Med Card.

Distribution Associate Job Summary: A manufacturer and distributor of garage doors is seeking a warehouse dock worker to join their growing and already thriving business. The best fit for this role would be a very team-minded person who thinks like an owner of their job and takes pride in doing things with excellence. This position will require a strong commitment to the team and completing the day well.

Responsibilities

• Manually lifts, loads, and transfers bars, rails, panels, and cases to and from trucks with rolling carts
• Heavy lifting consistently throughout your day
• Cleaning and organizing warehouse and managing materials as needed
• Valid drivers license and ability to drive a box truck in the future

Schedule & Pay: 1st shift 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday, this is 40 hours a week and overtime is rare to none $19.00/HR
