A leading company is seeking a Distribution Alternate Project Manager to oversee contract operations and ensure compliance with performance standards. This role involves logistics management, reporting, and acting as a primary point of contact. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree. The position may require global deployment and adherence to safety and operational standards.
This position shares responsibility for the performance of work and oversight of all contract matters related to the daily operations of this contract. The DAPM ensures all work requirements are met to provide professional and quality services to the Customer in accordance with Amentum leadership, international, US, DLA, PWS, industry standards, and safety priorities. The DAPM acts as the primary point of contact when the Distribution Project Manager is unavailable.
The role includes assisting the Distribution Project Manager with tracking, reporting, purchasing, and administrative duties. It requires some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete various steps under general supervision. The DAPM must be able to deploy globally within 48 hours in support of emerging requirements.
The position may involve typical office work or travel to harsh environments with extreme temperatures, requiring physical activities like lifting up to 40 pounds, climbing, crawling, and outdoor work.
