Job summary

Lendistry in California is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee troubled commercial, real estate, and government-guaranteed loan assets across the CORE and SBA portfolios. You will develop workout, restructuring, liquidation, and recovery strategies, engage borrowers, supervise collateral liquidation and SBA servicing, and coordinate with counsel to protect recoveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing troubled commercial and/or SBA loan portfolios.
• Experience with workouts and restructures, litigation including collection litigation, receiverships, bankruptcy, and foreclosures.
• Experience in SBA workouts with SOPs and guaranty preservation requirements.
• Underwriting and management of varied loan types including C&I, real estate, lines of credit, SBA/ABL.

Responsibilities

• Administer a portfolio of problem and non-performing loans.
• Develop and implement strategies to resolve problem loans and reduce risk.
• Negotiate with borrowers and guarantors for workouts and/or liquidations.
• Prepare default/disposition documents and charge-off requests as needed.
• Perform daily collection calls and skip tracing when required.
• Coordinate with counsel, trustees, foreclosure personnel, and other professionals.
• Analyze collateral, monitor bankruptcy proceedings, and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Manage OREO operations, valuation, impairment analysis, and disposition.
• Prepare monthly status reports and coordinate property management and maintenance.
