Job summary

GEICO is seeking a veteran network architect to define the long-term architectural vision for the data center network and to lead the development of scalable Layer 3 Clos fabrics, SDN platforms, and cloud networking services. You will mentor senior engineers across multiple organizations and partner with OpenStack, Kubernetes, storage, and platform teams to deliver integrated cloud networking solutions.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in networking, 10+ years designing enterprise or hyperscale

• 10+ years designing enterprise or hyperscale network architectures.
• Strong software development skills in Go, Python, C/C++, Rust, Java.
