Distinguish Engineer / Technical Project Manager

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Distinguish Engineer / Technical Project Manager. Location: McLean, VA.

Brief Description of the Project:

• Partnering with a cross-functional team of engineers, technical program managers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products that change how our associates work.
• Assessing and implementing AI powered solutions that accelerate engineering agenda including participating in architecting software, systems design, and prototyping and launching rapid POCs.
• Leveraging modern AI coding tools such as Windsurf and Claude Code to provide maximum leverage and quality with minimal manual effort.
• Ensuring the quality of technical design and implementation.

Skills Set Requirements:

Must Have:

• AI tools set experience including AI coding tools with Windsurf, Claude Code, Gemini, etc.
• Agentic AI experience, hands on experience with platform transformation leveraging autonomous, reasoning-based multi-agent systems.
• Experience architecting, designing, developing, integrating, delivering, and supporting complex AI systems.
• Experience in the full lifecycle of system development, from conception through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and production support including system design and regular code contributions.
• Proven experience in distributed systems, AWS, and modern languages (Java, Python, or Go), with a track record of solving "log-jam" engineering problems.
• Ability to navigate complex architectural alignment across silos while maintaining a "truth-seeking" / trade off analysis approach to technology.

Nice to Have:

• LLM optimization techniques to improve the performance - scalability, cost, latency, throughput.
• Serve as an authoritative expert on non-functional system characteristics, such as performance, scalability and operability.
