Job summary

J. Rieger & Co. is seeking a dependable Production & Warehouse Associate for our Kansas City distillery. You will support bottling, packaging, shipping, and warehouse organization while staying focused on safety and quality. Previous distillery experience is welcome but not required.

The role involves setting up and operating the bottling line, assembling packaging, and preparing goods for storage or shipment. This is an on-site, hourly position.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, manufacturing, bottling, or packaging.
• Forklift training or certification and safe operating experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, brewing, or distillation equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools.
• Experience with inventory systems, shipping software, or production records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bottling line setup, operation, changeovers, and cleanup, including filling, labeling, packing, and inspecting finished products.
• Assemble packaging, pack cases, build pallets, and prepare products for storage or shipment.
• Pick, verify, pack, and label outgoing orders accurately.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, unloading materials, and checking quantities against shipment records.
• Organize finished goods, packaging supplies, tools, and equipment; support inventory counts and accurate recordkeeping.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas according to established procedures.
• Perform routine housekeeping and basic facility and equipment maintenance within training and authorization.
• Safely move materials using pallet jacks and, following required training and authorization, forklifts.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and quality standards; promptly report equipment issues, damaged products, and unsafe conditions.
• Support additional production and warehouse tasks as assigned.
