Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an experienced engineer to validate display systems for LCD/LCOS/Micro-OLED and optical components, advancing test methods for consumer electronics. You will lead validation of MIPI and eDP interfaces, develop test specs, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clients to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Electronics (EE) or Optics with 5-10 years in system validation for consumer electronics.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting electric, electronic, and optic system drawings and schematics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Experience in technical documentation and report generation.
• Basic networking knowledge (Modbus, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, protocols) required.
• Embedded Electronics system validation for display/optic applications (AR, VR devices).
• LCOS/Micro-OLED optical product validation experience preferred (Radiant Vision etc.).
• Lean manufacturing practices (Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Map).
• Design and application knowledge of embedded EE interface standards (I2C, eUSB etc.).
• Experience with test software programming, HMI, C#, Python, C, using SoC and DRY techniques is a plus.

Required Skills (Technical Competency)
