Job summary

General Motors in Mountain View, CA is seeking an Engineering Group Manager- Displays Integration to lead display integration across the full product lifecycle. You will manage a team of engineers, coordinate with Design Studio, Interior, Electrical, Software, Validation, and Purchasing, and drive alignment on architecture, sourcing, and launch readiness.

The role requires a strong track record in cross‑functional leadership, complex program execution, and continuous improvement, balancing

Qualifications

BS in Engineering required, MS preferred.
10+ years of automotive engineering with display systems experience.
Proven track record leading cross‑functional product development programs.
Experience with LCD/OLED displays, touch systems and related suppliers.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of display integration engineers with performance management.
Own display integration execution across concept to production support.
Drive cross‑functional alignment with Design Studio, Interior, HVAC, Electrical, Software, Validation, Purchasing and Manufacturing.
Manage multiple display architectures and configurations across vehicle platforms.
Support DFMEA/PFMEA activities and ensure issue resolution and on‑time milestones.
Champion cost reduction, continuous improvement, and supplier accountability.
