Floor & Decor is hiring for a role that designs, builds, and maintains in-store product displays. The position offers both full-time and part-time hours, with a minimum base pay of $15.24 per hour and higher starting pay based on experience.

The job requires a year of construction experience and hands-on skills in wood working, tile setting, and using basic tools. Candidates must be able to work in a warehouse environment and meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• One year of construction or building experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Demonstrated ability to abide by and exhibit proactive adherence to all safety regulations and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in Wood working, Tile setting, Use of power tools, Use of measuring tools, Use of basic tools (e.g., hammer, nails, T-square, saw).

Responsibilities

• Design and build store product displays per the Department Manager in each department.
• All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures.
• Builder is expected to create 20-25 displays per week.
• Work with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain inventory for materials.
• Create a calendar for each month with a plan for all displays being built.
